Here we go.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nWork Schedules<br \/>\n<em>For Brer<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A vague feeling of neglect<br \/>\ninjected through asthma inhaler<br \/>\nas another window passes<br \/>\nand I&#8217;m stuck, employed.<br \/>\nOur respective masters<br \/>\nwalk in different lights,<br \/>\nyours, artificial,<br \/>\nmine a burning fireball<br \/>\nof incandescent gas<br \/>\nI can&#8217;t hold in the sky for you<br \/>\nno matter how many oven mitts I buy.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, another day cycle gone<br \/>\nwith no you in sight<br \/>\nand I cling to others, available.<br \/>\nWe kiss. We use.<br \/>\nAnd I don&#8217;t think of you<br \/>\nwhile I&#8217;m panting and moaning,<br \/>\nshort of breath,<br \/>\nlungs failing to function as prescribed,<br \/>\nuntil I can finally breathe in<br \/>\nwith the thought of you working.<br \/>\nI know you don&#8217;t mind,<br \/>\ndoing the same while I earn,<br \/>\nand I shouldn&#8217;t feel bad.<\/p>\n<p>But I do.<br \/>\nYou could have watched.<br \/>\nYou could have joined in.<br \/>\nYou could have been part<br \/>\nof my life.<\/p>\n<p>Physically satisfied,<br \/>\nI give in,<br \/>\nunsatisfied<br \/>\nwithout you,<br \/>\nknowing tomorrow<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll miss you again.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yep, love poetry.
