\nand soon you simply aren't aware
\nof the ridiculous dance
\nthat fills up your day with high kicks
\nand twirls.
\nI was at one point rational,
\na model citizen
\nwho used intelligence
\nto grease the wheels
\nbefore I poured over tiny details
\nstomach churning
\nto absorb them all
\nwith the desperate burn of acid,
\nmolecules becoming cell walls
\nuntil, finally, it was me
\nwho shouldn't be set off,
\ncued to go into a spiel
\nmore annoying than factual,
