ALL OF THE GENRES, amirite?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Atomic Bonsai<\/p>\n<p>Hidden beneath ceramic pot<br \/>\nlurks a terrible power.<br \/>\nThrobbing, thickening,<br \/>\nas it curls through the available soil.<br \/>\nTrunks, limbs,<br \/>\nspastic<br \/>\nsurge forth from underneath,<br \/>\nbecoming green<br \/>\nwith undeniable energy.<\/p>\n<p>Waves of it<br \/>\nirradiate<br \/>\nand I feel it in my paws<br \/>\nfingertips trembling<br \/>\nas I reach closer<br \/>\npicking it up<br \/>\nmaking it hover and spin above my palm.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m electromagnetic,<br \/>\ncharged.<br \/>\nMy glasses crack.<br \/>\nWind swirls my hair just so.<br \/>\nThere is life here,<br \/>\ncontained,<br \/>\nand restricted,<br \/>\natoms bubbling with power<br \/>\nwaiting for<br \/>\nrelease.<\/p>\n<p>I have kept this tree from flourishing.<br \/>\nI have dug claws into it<br \/>\nand squashed dreams of swaying in the wind<br \/>\ntree sex in the air<br \/>\nintoxicating,<br \/>\nand it&#8217;s need to be<br \/>\nanother tree<br \/>\nrefills my batteries<br \/>\nas I cough,<br \/>\nhair falling to the ground<br \/>\nin clumps.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Only one more poem left after this!
